Meg the Divorce Coach Interviews Me as I Share My Story of Betrayal and Divorce

A marriage can look solid from the outside and still feel unsafe on the inside. Today you’ll hear Jennifer’s story told in interview form with Meg the Divorce Coach, starting with the moment divorce wasn’t even a concept in her world and ending with the surprising calm she finds on the other side of betrayal and divorce.

We get honest about repeated infidelity, the gut-punch of hearing “I want a divorce,” and the spiral so many of us know too well: making a mental list of how to be “better,” holding someone else’s shame, and trying to fix a problem we didn’t create. We also talk through the practical fears that keep people stuck, like money, alimony, child support, and the fear of losing your community or the life you worked hard to build. If you’re weighing reconciliation vs divorce, you’ll recognize the pressure of trying to choose the “right” answer while your nervous system is still in fight, flight, or freeze.

Then we move into what actually helped: coaching, learning to question old beliefs, taking your power back, and making decisions from love rather than hate. Jennifer shares why peace and emotional safety matter more than appearances, how kids absorb the tension even when no one is fighting, and why taking one small step toward information can change everything.

If you’ve experienced betrayal trauma, emotional betrayal, physical betrayal, or infidelity, this conversation offers a grounded path forward. Subscribe, share this with someone who feels stuck, and leave a review with the moment that hit you the hardest.

Jennifer’s Life And Marriage Context

Hi everyone. This is Jennifer. And I am so excited and happy and grateful that she is going to share some of her story of when she was figuring out what to do in her marriage and if she wanted to stay or leave. So, Jennifer, thank you for joining us.

Yeah, thanks so much for having me, Meg. I’m happy to be here.

Thanks. So just tell us a little bit about you.

Okay. Well, I um live in Utah and I am a coach as well. Um, and I have four kids. I love to travel. I love shopping. I like fashion. I like, um, I have a dog. Um, his name’s Dexter. I um I know I’ve been divorced now almost four years. So I am divorced. And so I’ve definitely um been on this journey that I know a lot of your clients are going on.

Um okay, yeah. And and it it reminds me, hearing some of those things about you reminds me where why we are friends in real life and why we get along well, because we do have a lot in common. Yeah. We we both love to travel, we love to shop, we we yeah.

All the basic necessities. Uh it’s true. It is true. It brings lots of happiness to me. And like I’m living my best life right now.

So amazing. I’m so happy about that. Okay, so tell us just a little bit, kind of at a high level, what was happening for you and in your marriage when you realized I’m not sure if I want to stay in this or like some things have really got to change.

Yeah.

Infidelity And The First Divorce Shock

I think, I mean, first of all, when I got married, I I was like, you know, I didn’t even divorce never crossed my mind. I didn’t have any family that was divorced. It was not in my, you know, thought process. Just I didn’t have grow up having friends, families. I didn’t have divorce in my radar. And so I just assumed, right, I was gonna marry my husband, I was gonna stay married to him for forever, for good, bad, indifferent. I could forgive him. Um, in my marriage, my husband had multiple affairs. And so the beginning of my marriage, when that happened, I of course blamed myself and thought it’s my problem to fix. And so I worked hard at trying to fix that and trying to get help and trying to figure that out. And maybe if I was did something different or was better in some way, then this wouldn’t have happened. And then fast forward, my think the first time I started to realize I might need to get divorced was in 2018. And at the time my husband was having another affair, he moved out um with uh this woman. And we told our kids, um, he actually called me. I was in Disney World with my boys. It was over fall break. He had just gotten home from Europe, taking our two daughters in college to Europe, and then I was taking our boys to um Disney World. Um, we didn’t normally do that, but it just was their vacations were different, and so we did that. So I didn’t really think anything of it, but I’m there and he calls me one night and was like, I want a divorce. And never had we said those words to each other, really. And I’m like, wait, what? And my immediate thought was, who is she? And of course, there wasn’t anyone because of my past from you know a decade before. Um of course there wasn’t anyone. I just am not happy. I don’t want to spend my rest of my life, you know, being unhappy. And I just think if we got divorced, we could be so much, we’d be better friends, we’d be happy. And I’m thinking, what are you talking about? And so I, of course, was devastated. And this is me. I I even have it. I wrote down all the ways I was gonna save my marriage. I had like 20 of them, all the ways that I was deficient. I went there again. Okay, I can fix this. So I get home and I realize, of course, I discovered we had cameras on our house that he forgot about, apparently. And I discovered, yes, there in fact is someone else. And I, in that moment, I thought, I’ve got to get divorced. I can’t do this again. And so I did.

Calling Attorneys And Telling The Kids

Um, I remember sitting, um, picking up my son at junior high, sitting in the car. And I ironically, my dad was a divorce attorney in Colorado, and my two brothers were also attorneys. And so I thought, I need to call them. And um, my brother now tells me that about a week earlier, him they were talking, and they’re like, We’re so glad Jennifer’s such in such a stable marriage. And she just feels like she has it all together. I’m the only girl in my family. And so my brothers were having this conversation, and I call and I talk to my youngest brother, and I was like, I think I have to get divorced. And he’s like, Wait, what? Because I lived in Utah, they lived in Colorado, so they weren’t seeing me on the daily. And I’m like, I don’t know how to do that. And he, you know, they were shocked, and but they understood. So they, you know, told me what to do. I I remember I decided I needed to call three attorneys. I don’t know why I decided three, but I thought I should call three attorneys. So I did, and I’ll never forget, I like dropped my kids off at the school, and I was sitting in a church parking lot, and I called the attorney. And I remember thinking, I’m doing something terribly wrong. Wrong with me. Why, why would I, why would I actually call an attorney? What am what am I doing? Like I it was it was just like an outer body experience because in my mind I’m like, no, I’m not supposed to get divorced. This isn’t supposed to happen to me. This isn’t how I planned my life. So um, yeah, so I I called, I hired an attorney um in that process, even though I didn’t want to get divorced, I still was so resistant to the idea of getting divorced. We ended up telling our kids, and I I know now that is for sure why we ended up reconciling in that moment, because my kids were devastated. It was like we told them we were we’ve killed someone or we’ve gone through like it was like they’re like their whole entire identity, their life never was, and because we weren’t fighting, like we weren’t very, we were a very amicable, loving family. We traveled, we did service projects, we read scriptures every night, we went to church every Sunday. That was their perception, and that was really the reality. However, their dad was also living this other life. So it was very confusing for all of us. But I so I I you know that that time, so my kids love to remind me, mom, you made us go through divorce twice. I’m like, I’m so sorry.

Oh gosh.

I’m sorry. I I just I thought, you know, okay, because in 2018, by the end of the year, uh my husband was a financial advisor. And so the laws were changing in 2019 for alimony. Oh um, if he was very determined that we get divorced in 2018, because that would mean he didn’t have to pay taxes on alimony. And I kind of understood that, but now I’m like, I dodged a bullet because I was something inside of me was protecting me because uh, you know, I we were working towards divorce and doing all the things, but for whatever reason we decided to reconcile. I think it’s because my kids were so devastated. And I for sure, speaking from my point of view, stayed married for 26 years. I I’m not blaming my kids, but I for my kids, I thought I was doing the right thing. I thought I was protecting them from some pain, although I was just delaying the pain. And now they get to feel it as adults. And so I, you know, lots of lots of feelings about that.

But

Shame And The Trap Of Fixing Him

so tell me, you’ve mentioned this a couple of times, and I think this is really common, is the idea or this belief, even if it’s not true at all, that there’s something I can do to fix this. I can be better in this way, or if I was less of this or more of this, or so, like, what are some of the things that you actually thought? Like, if I changed in this way, then he would be happy in our marriage, or he wouldn’t go outside of it.

Yeah. Well, it’s fascinating. I mean, he definitely would, he was the type to give me a list, right? Like, if I had, if I had cooked more, made dinner more, okay, if I was skinnier, if I looked different, if I had a different shape of body, he was very what I looked like would matter to him a lot. And so um, very critical. I didn’t exercise enough. I didn’t nothing I did was enough really for him. And so now I understand that that was a him problem, not a me problem. It hadn’t I could have I could have been everything on his list that he needed me to be, and he still would have been unhappy because it wasn’t me that was causing his unhappiness, it was him and his issues, right? And his thoughts and feelings about it. So um, but I I think that was shame for me. Shame um really kept me stuck. I almost, it’s almost he gave me his shame and I held his shame, and then I created more shame for myself, which kept me hiding. Um, I didn’t tell anyone about any of these things until in 2018. That’s when um, I mean, that that affair in our life was very public, meaning he would be out to dinner with her, uh, you know, where we lived, a lot of people worked downtown.

So they would see them together. Yeah. Okay.

That’s so I think until that time I realized how much shame had kept me stuck.

Okay, so when you kind of made this list or like these beliefs in your head, some of them or most of them were like either indirectly or directly from feedback that you’d gotten in your marriage, anyways. They weren’t just like things that you thought, oh well, maybe, maybe here’s how I could improve, or maybe you know, it was like Yeah, I’m sure it was a combo, right?

I can’t mostly he was very critical of me. And so, of course, I took those criticisms very personally. So there it was a pattern, and I’m sure there’s things I came up with, but mostly it was from his criticisms that I thought I must be a terrible wife. And now I know that’s not even true. It it was a lie that I was believing.

Yeah. Okay, okay, that makes sense. Yeah. Um, so you’ve you’ve spoken a little bit to this, but and and I guess we haven’t even gotten to the, you know, we’ve gotten to like divorce, first separation and then reconciliation. But while you’re kind of dealing with all of this, other than your kids, what were you most afraid of during that time?

Fear Of Money Identity And Loss

Yeah, I think for me, um, I was for sure terrified because I was a stay-at-home mom. So I thought, how will I support myself? And logically I knew, like the law says, you know, I would be getting child support and I would be getting alimony, although alimony is um up for negotiation. And not everyone gets it. Um, and I would be also splitting our assets, but that still made me nervous because I’m like, well, those are in like a 401k, like things you don’t get access to immediately. They’re after retirement savings and all that. So I think the fear of um how was I gonna support ourselves myself? Um, we lived, I loved our life. Um, we lived in an amazing house, an amazing neighborhood. Um my kids had great friends. I had good friends. I had just remodeled our house. I love, you know, I’d spent lots of time and energy. We had a beach house in Galveston, Texas. I loved that. So I was gonna be giving, I was like, I of course would lose some of that, right? So the loss, the um, the identity of in my neighborhood, no one was divorced, but I still didn’t know many people that had gotten divorced, people in my family didn’t get divorced at that time. And so just that idea of this is not the way my life was supposed to happen. And so I think that all of those things played into us reconciling. And I thought, oh, we can that’s great. He wants to reconcile, he wants to try, and I’m gonna try. And

Coaching And Taking Back Power

that’s actually the time in 2019 is when I found coaching. And I had gone to some therapists throughout the years or whatever, but coaching really I started really playing with um some of my beliefs that were just not help, they were not helping me. I had so many thoughts in my head that were just keeping me stuck. And so that that’s when I found coaching. And I just it’s like I went and jumped into the pool of coaching. I went all in because I’m like, oh my gosh, I can think something different. I don’t have to think this and I don’t have to feel this way. And so I just was giving him so much power over me. And I started taking my power back a little by little by little. And then I got started feeling stronger and more secure and realizing, oh, it’s not because I didn’t make dinner last night. It’s because of, you know, it’s it’s his feelings about it. Or I I just would I was able to like not be when you got not get so defensive when he was criticizing me. I would be like, hmm, is anything he’s saying a true? Okay, I’ll own up to that, but I’m not I’m not gonna absorb anything else that you think about me because I don’t think about that me. I don’t think that about me anymore.

So yeah, and that that really it’s so it’s so hard to explain how that changes your life until you actually experience it. Yes, because the it feels like there’s only one option. Yes, yeah. It and it just there is so like a whole world opens up to you when you actually decide on purpose that you’re not gonna take this on anymore.

Yes, it it was like magic. I’m like, oh my gosh, I don’t have to believe what he thinks about me. And I, you know, the thing is um when you’re in a marriage for such a long time, you really you think you’re they’re telling you the truth. And they’re, you know, you’re like, oh, maybe I am. And I really kind of I for sure isolated a lot, right? I was never vulnerable to other people. Like other people would have looked at us and think thought, like, oh, you have this most amazing family. Um, you have all the things that an the world wants someone to have, a big house, cars, take lots of amazing, amazing vacations, your kids are amazing, right? Doing good things in the world, um, a lot of service. So on the out, our outward appearance definitely didn’t match our inward and for sure my in insights, right? And so um it was a disconnect.

Well, and I think you make a good point because I I this comes up a lot as well for me with my clients is how do you love the life that you have and not be willing to be in this marriage anymore? Like where how can that be?

Yeah, yeah.

How can you love your life and want to get divorced?

Yeah. Well,

Peace Safety And Seeing The Kids

I think it’s such it is a disconnect, but for me ultimately, so I ended up getting married or getting divorced in 2022. So we we went from 2018 to 2022, and I was on my like call it just my healing journey. I was figuring out about myself, understanding myself. And I think for me, I got to a point where first of all, I’m not, I I would rather get divorced. I was willing to let all of that go for my peace, for my freedom, for my happiness. Like I could see that was just keeping me stuck. And so I just was, I just had to like wiggle my thoughts loose, right? Of all those things. Because I thought, what if I could create a better life than what I had? And I realized um for me, for me, like understanding um just I was so stuck. I was emotionally stuck. So I wasn’t even feeling my emotions. I was kind of numb. And the effect that that had on my kids, I was starting to see it more. Once I could see me, I could see them. And I was like, this is not helpful. They were walking on eggshells too. I always thought I was the only one feeling it. They were feeling it too. And I didn’t really recognize that until I started paying attention and started watching. So I’m like, wait, living in this house means nothing if you don’t feel peace and calm. And we are, we don’t like when we hear the garage door open when dad comes home. And that isn’t a fun place to live. It doesn’t matter how big or small your house is. That’s miserable. And so I just started realizing the impact it was having on me and my kids. And I thought, you know what? What would it be like to live in a house that felt safe and peaceful and there’s not fighting and not that there was lots of fighting, but just this, you know, I mean, for me, I I just I I don’t ever have to worry about where my husband is because I don’t have one. And I don’t have to worry about someone lying to me anymore. Just that weight in and of itself is like worth all the money, all the

of it it just is worth every penny yeah yeah and I think I think you brought up a good point a minute ago that until you could see it in yourself you couldn’t really see it in your kids either but also a a lot of people when they come to me and I know come to you as well they’re not even in a healthy or strong enough place to be able to see themselves.

Yeah yeah it’s so true it takes time I think that’s why having a coach is can be life changing because then you can start seeing your patterns and start awakening. I call it like an awakening we have to have an awakening we have to understand like oh our body is just shutting us down we’re protecting our body protects us right and um so once you can start seeing it then you can make a decision because you can never make a decision when you’re in fight flight or freeze because your brain goes offline right we’re not making good decisions there. And so we have to get ourselves a little more I call it in our zone if we can get more in our zone then that’s when we’re making better decisions. And

Divorcing From Love Not Hate

so it’s really hard because I always tell people I’m like you if you’re gonna get divorced you’ve got to do it from love for you and everyone else in the story. Because if we get divorced from hate or or any negative feeling it’s not gonna go well. And so I think healing I we I I believe you don’t have to there’s not a rush to make a decision especially divorce especially in long-term marriages. Most of the people I work with and I’m guessing you have been married. It’s not like we’ve been married a year or six months we’ve been married for decades. So it is I think a feels like a heavier decision. So I think healing a little bit is helpful in making that decision because you’re not coming from a place of pain or um you know we’re just making a better decision. And for me I think once I once in 2022 once I decided I was divorced in six weeks. I got divorced very quickly. And so in Utah you have to um it takes 30 days so um from the moment we met with the attorney I think it took him like a few weeks to do the pay paperwork and we we actually the first time I hired an attorney the second time we did a mediator and we just went to the same we mediated um we had I’m gonna say a very simple that process was very simple because he wanted out of the marriage he had other prospects that he wasn’t happy with and I was ready I was done. And so it was like the perfect thing. I was just ready to get out too and so it made it very not very complicated which I’m really grateful for. I think I for sure was still a little numb in that but I got divorced quickly and then I could start my healing. And so I yes I started healing 2019 to 2022 but a lot more healing happened after I got divorced and I could feel the difference. I did sell my house and move to a different house because I was like I need a change you know and sometimes a change isn’t always helpful but for me I knew it would be I needed I wanted to downsize I wanted something that was just mine and that um the house that I bought is I just love it so much. And even my kids they’re like it just feels so happy here mom and that just makes me so happy because I didn’t realize how unhappy we all were in our in the marriage in the family.

Yeah yeah and it’s not about the house. No either right yeah and and I want to point out too something that you just said is and some that’s this is something that I bring up with clients a lot as well who are in this space of is this possible to stay and be happy and healthy here? Is it better to get divorced? What should we do? And you mentioned getting divorced from the place of love for everyone in the story but sometimes we forget that or that is really challenging to do when we decide at least for right now we want to stay in the marriage because there’s like so much hurt and that you know turns to resentment. And so we’re staying in this marriage but we just have all these terrible feelings toward our spouse. And you know so like it’s possible to be in a marriage that you’re trying to work to build something different even when it’s hard like to it’s so much better when you can find love and compassion and grace in on that side too.

Yeah for sure and staying I mean most of my clients want to stay married their spouses have had affairs and they want to stay married. So absolutely you can make that work too and I did I tried from well for 26 years I did but the thing I realized for reconciliation it takes two people. Oh yes and so that just was not I thought it was happening and then I realized this is not we’re not reconciling. He has no interest in reconciling and so for me I think but I I wasn’t I still didn’t um I was still able to navigate because I was focused on my healing. I think sometimes I think a lot of couples they just focus on what their spouse is doing wrong or not doing and they’re so focused on them that they aren’t focused on them and on themselves and that’s where the problem lies right and so I think and I think if you you’re not ready to make a decision at least decide okay I’m gonna be in I’m gonna go all in on my marriage for a year. But when you sit on the fence you’re gonna be miserable. And a lot of people are fence sitters because they’re like well I don’t want to get hurt but I’m like you’re hurting yourself you’re pre-hurting yourself you don’t even know if you have a chance to to fix your marriage unless you go all in on it. And you have to be willing that feels risky. And I always think I had so much fear about divorce and but it took courage to show up for me to get divorced. I realized that really helped me once I realized I needed some courage to do the hard thing because from fear it I was just making myself miserable.

Compassion For The Past Version Of Me

Yeah yeah yes amen right you get it so it’s been some years now and so tell me what you understand about and have more compassion for that version of Jennifer than you could see at the time yeah well I’ve had to do a lot of work on this because I I’m like why would I stay in such a toxic marriage right?

Why would I stay with someone that had multiple affairs? Why didn’t I just leave the first time so but I which is so common. Yeah yeah yeah and so I just had to decide you know what I married my husband for a reason and I think my reason is my four kids and I wouldn’t change that for anything I love my kids they were I believe they were supposed to come to me and we were supposed to be a family and I needed my husband to create that and so I just have look been able to look at myself with lots of love and compassion I was doing the best I could in my situation. I really was we didn’t have the internet we didn’t have the resources I I always think um you know we live in such a beautiful time because there are so many more resources and information out there. You just didn’t talk about things like this right you didn’t no one’s talking about it. And so for me I just had to know I was doing the best that I could and now when I got more information got stronger then I could make a different decision. So I um don’t regret getting married I don’t regret getting divorced either I knew both were hard but for me divorce has actually been so much better than I ever imagined like I of course you know was homeless um you know begging for food or something like I was worst case scenario thinking that I was so fearful of it. I was like oh my gosh I I just my kids are gonna hate me and never talk to me again. And it just nothing about me being divorced has been like that. It’s all been beautiful amazing um I mean of course there are hard days and sometimes I feel frustrated or irritated. However I know like no I I just like I believed I was supposed to marry my husband and have my kids I definitely know I was supposed to get divorced and this is my new path and I really love the new path that I’m creating right it looks different than I thought in my I’m 55 so what I thought would be myself in my 50s I don’t know if I ever envisioned that when I was younger but still I’m like right but actually I’m like this is great.

I get to do whatever I want whenever I want and my kids are we have the best relationship so supportive closer than ever been able to repair with them and so I think it’s it’s been a beautiful thing a beautiful learning moment for me that I just needed a little courage you know to make the hard decision of getting divorced but it I I put a lot more weight on it than it needed to have okay yeah yeah and tell me if you’re talking to someone who is in this space themselves and just kind of feels stuck and feels like there it they can’t make a right decision because there’s so many we we come up with all these worst case scenarios on both sides and we’re it we just keeps us stuck and we’re terrified of everything. And

One Small Step When You Feel Stuck

so if there is a person who is it at this spot of deciding what do I want to do do I want to stay married do I want to get divorced what’s your one piece of advice that you would offer to that person advice well my thought is there’s not a right or wrong decision right it it getting we could we could build a case for both and also both are hard.

Staying married is hard getting divorced is hard. However um listen to your body listen to your heart and just stay take one little step towards the thing that you’re thinking if it’s divorce call a divorce attorney get some information if it’s uh reconciliation maybe find someone you know read some books about your marriage start start figuring out because the the truth is you’re gonna have to heal regardless whether you stay married there’s some healing to do in your marriage and healing to do getting divorced and so the more you can just focus on okay what do I love about me? What do I want to change about me? What don’t I like about me? All those things instead of focusing on your partner is gonna serve you so much better.

And so I don’t know that was a few pieces of advice but I yeah no yeah I love that and and again like it is hard to do it’s so much easier to put your focus on the other person. Yes it is and not look in it’s so much harder to really sit with yourself.

Yeah and I think divorce is an interesting thing because we think divorce is final but I’ve known people to get divorced and get remarried I’ve known people like myself almost get divorced like literally um the the day we’re supposed to sign the depayment yeah one signature away yeah one signature away and we decide we’re not doing it. So it going towards divorce doesn’t necessarily mean you’re necessarily going to get to divorce and also sometimes hearing divorce people realize like oh especially if it’s your partner that you’re they sometimes start changing or start realizing like oh I have to pay more attention to my marriage. I do want to change it this I don’t want a divorce right so I I just think saying and going through the motions of getting divorced if that’s where you’re going doesn’t necessarily lead down that path. Nothing is really final until I think we we die right that’s right until we decide it is yeah yeah and then or we decide yeah and so and even if we decide to reconcile um I’ve learned that lesson too I reconciled and then I realized oh I guess I don’t want to reconcile I do want to divorce and I did that and did I waste four years of my life some people would be like well that was such a waste no it wasn’t for me I learned so much so many lessons that changed me and so I don’t view it as a wasted time. I view it or and I also don’t view my divorce as a failure in any way I just ended my marriage and it needed to end but that that book was over and now I get to create a new book. So I I I think it’s really how we think about it. Agreed

Freedom After Divorce And Joy Again

yeah absolutely um and kind of on that note and you in this new new book that you’re writing now what’s your very favorite part of your life now my very my very favorite part is just every day I get to I don’t have to talk ask anyone to buy something to go anywhere. I just went to San Diego for a few days. I mean of course I tell my kids but I don’t I don’t have to not that my husband wasn’t a person that I had to like ask to buy you know he I didn’t he wasn’t like financially like some marriages that’s an issue right so I I could really buy whatever I wanted then um but it just I I don’t have anyone overlooking my shoulder I feel like like did you work out today? Did you you know why are you eating that you you know that’s not very good for you. Like I just felt micromanaged in and plus the and also I just have learned to love me for me. Like I feel like I found myself again I got really lost in my marriage and so I feel like I’m becoming me again who I was always supposed to be that uh had you know the qualities that I for whatever reason couldn’t be in my marriage.

Yeah and that is a that is a beautiful thing and absolutely that is a favorite part of life is figuring out who you are and loving that girl. Yeah yeah absolutely I agree. So okay so since you love to travel let’s end with this where is one place on your bucket list that you haven’t been and you are dying to go okay I have so many but I want to go to Dubai.

Okay really want to go to Dubai and Tahiti yes I haven’t been to either of those places either let’s go yes for sure girls trip yeah all right and Jennifer tell us a little bit more about what you do and who you help we’ve spoken to it a little bit but so um I you can find me on Instagram all social media at happily even after coach and I have a podcast um called happily even after betrayal so I coach men and women who’ve experienced betrayal in their marriage and I help them heal and I love the work because even if you choose to get divorced you still need to heal those wounds especially betrayal. Betrayal is something that can live inside of you for years and decades. And so I really that’s what I focus on. I am divorced but I focus on the betrayal part of that whether it is emotional betrayal physical betrayal a little pornography betrayal I I work on but mostly um infidelity is what I really focus on. So yeah so that I just I’m a coach like you Meg.

Hi, I’m Jennifer

I love helping women and men heal from betrayal. I originally started this podcast with my husband and since my divorce I have taken it solo. I love sharing and talking about the 50/50 of life and providing tools to help you along your path to healing.
