How we “Consciously Uncoupled” our marriage

This was a difficult episode for me to do but I felt I wanted to share with my listeners why my podcast has gone from Kevin and I to just me.  My logo, music and intro have all changed as well- I will call this, Season 2 of my podcast! Kevin and I got divorced. This is one idea that was helpful for me, however, in reality with actual people, kids, emotions it can get messy.  I suggest and recommend looking into this concept for you and your kids if you want a better way to end your marriage.  Divorce is hard and changes and turns your entire life upside down, literally. This method offers a way so you can find peace regardless of the pain you are feeling or that someone has caused you or your family.  I promise it is worth doing the work and will save you so much time, energy and money. I believe we need to de-stigmatize divorce especially in Christian faiths.  Nobody gets married to get divorced but so many couples stay married and miserable. This is not what God wants for us. Divorce can look however you want it to look.  This takes time and doesn’t happen overnight.  I am still trying to figure out and heal from all the pain but I know I will eventually.  My kids are amazing and have handled it so well. My kids are older but if I had younger kids this would still be the way I would want to go.  Anger and hate take so much negative energy I always try to lean into love and compassion when I can.  It doesn’t always happen but when I do, I feel so much better.  I hope you love listening to this podcast as much as I enjoy creating it- as always follow me @relationship411podcast on Instagram and Facebook- email Jennifer@relationship411podcast.com to get the 411 every week or go to my website http://www.relationship411podcast.com and schedule a free coaching consult.
