Leaning in to your desires

We all have desires and sometimes things we want or desire aren't an option for us.  I share an example of my client wanting to have sex, however she is divorced and her values are that she doesn't want to have sex unless she is married.  Instead of resisting our desires we can still lean into them.  As we do this we are able to acknowledge it and be ok with not having sex right now.  When we resist it consumes us and we start thinking thoughts like- I will never have sex again, nobody loves me, what is wrong, why did this happen to me etc… You get the picture. What desires are you resisting?

Hi, I’m Jennifer

I love helping women and men heal from betrayal. I originally started this podcast with my husband and since my divorce I have taken it solo. I love sharing and talking about the 50/50 of life and providing tools to help you along your path to healing.
