The Science behind Falling in Love and Heartbreak

This week I dive into how science has discovered that the chemicals released in our body as we fall into love, mimic a drug addict getting High. Which makes sense, right.  It is even more prevalent in an affair because that adds a layer of secrecy which makes it all that more exciting-Just like falling in love releases chemicals into the body when we get divorced, break up or fall out of love with someone our body releases chemicals that mimic a drug addict in detox.  That is why it feels so painful when someone we love doesn't love us back.  It literally feels like our heart is breaking.

Hi, I’m Jennifer

I love helping women and men heal from betrayal. I originally started this podcast with my husband and since my divorce I have taken it solo. I love sharing and talking about the 50/50 of life and providing tools to help you along your path to healing.
